Carmine grew up in Vancouver, near Portland, and is a graduate of the Univ. of Washington. After college she married her high school sweetheart, Tim. During Tim's grad school and post doc years, they were fortunate to experience life in The Windy City, The Big Apple, and The City of Perspiring Dreams. During these years, Carmine worked at various places, and gained marketing skills at Macmillan Publishers and Pfizer.
In 1999, Carmine and husband settled in Knoxville, where Tim taught math at the Univ. of Tennessee. Carmine became a freelance web design. They enjoyed hiking, exploring the nearby Smoky Mountains, poker, and travel. Sadly in March of 2025, Tim passed away. He was a wonderful husband, and will be greatly missed.
Carmine has since returned to Seattle to be near family. Along with web design, she enjoys long walks, hiking, nature,
listening to music, flipping through vinyl, reading, playing poker, travel, coffee shops, and spending time with her dad.
